Mark your calendars! This year’s much-anticipated Prairie Waters Elementary School Fashion Show will take place on Friday, January 31st. The Grade 1 students are thrilled to present a showcase of identity, culture, and creativity to their peers and families.
In this annual event, the young students highlight the unique aspects of who they are, sharing their culture, special interests, and family influences through fashion. The fashion show is not only a vibrant celebration of individuality but also a culmination of their learning in social studies.
Last year, students proudly walked the runway in outfits representing their cultures, hobbies, and families. From traditional attire to costumes inspired by personal interests, each ensemble told a unique story. This year promises even more heartfelt and inspiring moments as the students once again share who they are in a creative, confidence-building format.
